What we publish
The catalog collects public SKILL.md files and presents their source, pinned commit, repository license, installation command, supported platform signals, documentation structure, and static permission-risk evidence in one place.
What makes the directory different
Every detail page links back to the exact upstream file and commit. Rankings use reproducible repository snapshots, while the quality breakdown separates documentation, specificity, maintenance, and trust signals. The downloadable JSON exposes the same underlying records.
What we do not claim
- Repository stars do not prove that an individual Skill is good.
- Static risk detection is not a security audit.
- Source parsing and summaries are not described as manual testing.
- Upstream authors and repositories are not affiliated with SkillSignal unless they say so.
- The original source and license remain authoritative.

The publisher name used by this project is “SkillSignal Agent Skills Directory.” It is scoped to this Agent Skills catalog and must not be confused with unrelated organizations that use the word SkillSignal. Only verified project profiles are eligible for structured-datasameAs links.
