Catalog errors should be reproducible, traceable to a source record, and corrected in the underlying data or rule rather than hidden in page copy.

What to report

  • Wrong repository, owner, source path, commit, or license.
  • Incorrect platform, industry, function, scenario, or stack classification.
  • Misleading repository-date or collection-date labels.
  • Static risk false positives or missed high-risk source lines.
  • Duplicate or same-name Skills that should be consolidated.
  • Incorrect editorial-review or test status.

What to include

Include the SkillSignal URL, upstream source URL, the exact disputed field or passage, expected correction, and supporting source. For a risk-signal correction, include the pinned commit and source line.

Correction workflow

  1. The report is checked against the pinned source and current upstream state.
  2. The source record, deterministic rule, or editorial note is corrected.
  3. The catalog is regenerated and validated.
  4. Material corrections are documented in the public issue or change record.
