Evidence labels
- Upstream source: claims and instructions in the pinned SKILL.md or repository.
- Computed signal: deterministic catalog, quality, freshness, or static-risk output.
- Editorial review: a named reviewer’s comparison, limitation analysis, or recommendation.
- Verified test: a reproducible environment, input, observed output, date, and failure notes.
- User feedback: attributed experience that is not converted into a universal claim.
Automated briefs
Automated briefs may summarize structure, detected workflow steps, examples, cautions, platforms, and permissions. They must link to the source, disclose that they are not manual tests, and avoid claims of safety, compatibility, installation success, or endorsement.
Independent review requirements
A page is not approved for search indexing merely because it is long, popular, or well structured. Approval requires explicit review status plus the automated quality gate. A verified test must record the Agent, version, operating environment, task input, observed output, errors, date, and reviewer.
Conflicts and commercial influence
Sponsored placement, affiliate relationships, repository ownership, or reviewer conflicts must be disclosed on the affected page. No payment may change a quality score or remove a material limitation. The current catalog does not represent repository owners as SkillSignal authors.
Corrections
Source, attribution, licensing, classification, security-signal, and review errors are corrected transparently through the published corrections process.
